The obvious advantage of living in St Pancras is the proximity of Kings Cross and St Pancras with quick connections to the north. Some speculators are buying properties in this area because the Channel Tunnel rail link is planned to be extended to here. There is also good access to the M40 and M4 along Pentonville Road. The more learned residents have the opportunity to enjoy the delights of the British Library close at hand. Generally speaking, properties in this area have lower prices than those areas closer to the City. Bloomsbury, Islington and Clerkenwell are all close by and there are many attractive Georgian terraces and small residential squares in the area. Camden Town is also not far away - it offers a bargain hunters market by day and top music venues by night.
